Finally, Nolan is bringing in someone as OC that has experience and not a friend of the family. Now, continue the addition of the staff with experience. Welcome aboard Mike

You've got to be kidding me?! Let's sign an OC that refuses to run the football. Let's put him in when all that we have on the team is Frank Gore. The 49ers can't pass protect, and they can't catch the ball. I think this is a terrible signing, and is going to end up getting the best dressed man in sports fired.

This is a great hire. Remember the "Gretaest Show on Turf" they ran the ball very effctively and passed with ease. He didnt run the ball in Detroit because they had High School JV caliber backs there. When the sign a playmaker at receiver and have that line straightened out this team will be a contender. I think they could land Berrian and he would upgrade this team immediately.

I'm with Hector. This is a miserable signing. Martz's offense ran the ball in St Louis when Vermeil forced him to run the ball. Faulk was more of a pass catcher than a runner. Gore is more like Kevin Jones then Faulk. also, should we just place the BUST tag on Vernon Davis now sicne Martz doesn't use a tight end? Our best offensive weapons are the tight end and running back which is why Norv Turner's did so well. That begs to question why Cam Cameron, a disciple of Turner, wasn't even interviewed. What were Cameron's amin weapons in San Diego? antonio Gates and LaDainian....a tigth and a running back!
