The 49ers and
agreed to a 3 year deal today. Hill, who was an impending unrestricted free agent, showed poise, accuracy, instincts, smarts and a quick release - a far cry from what quarterbacks
and
showed before going down with injuries.
The deal is believed to be worth $6 million, including a signing bonus of about $2 million and playing-time incentives that could push the total to $11.5 million.
The team also hired former Dolphins RB coach
Tony Nathan and promoted
Trent Baalke to director of player personnel.
