ESPN reports that former Cardinals and Penn State wide receiver Bryant Johnson has agreed to a one-year deal with the 49ers. The former first round pick measures in at 6-3 and 216 lbs, bringing size, physicality and big-play ability to a diminuative group of wideouts.


Linebacker Takeo Spikes is also expected to sign today. He visited the team yesterday and various Bay Area beat writers are expecting the sides to come to a contract agreement today.
