49ers.com reports that starting right guard Dave Baas tore his pectoral muscle during workouts. He is expected to miss most of the summer and part of training camp.

The Mercury News reports that Donald Strickland was arrested on April 13 for public intoxication and resisting arrest in downtown San Jose. Strickland allegedly ran away from officers trying to arrest him for being drunk in public. Expect the league to suspend him around one to four games after things are sorted out.
