Craig Berry, RT/OG/TE, UConn - 6-6, 324 lbs
- Good athlete
- A bit raw as an edge blocker, probably will play inside in the pros
- Used at times as goal line TE
Jason Berryman, DE/OLB, Iowa State, 6-0 3/4, 235 lbs, 4.67 40 time. - On the fateful night of August 19, 2004 Berryman stole $4 from Jeffery Kemble, punched him in the face, and then stole his cell phone. Berryman had apparently denied stealing the phone, but when a police officer tried calling the number, a phone in Berryman's pants started ringing. He was arrested and later sentenced to 300 days in jail, $1500 fines, and two years of probation. (Courtesy: Rofflehaus.com) - 1/30/06: Berryman, 20, was cited for being on the premises underage, which was listed as an alcohol offense. No arrest was made. Berryman missed the 2004 football season while serving 258 days in jail for theft and assault convictions. Football coach Dan McCarney announced on Aug. 5, 2005, that he would reinstate Berryman, who worked his way from the scout team and eventually started for the Cyclones in the 2005 season. He recorded 12 tackles and 5 sacks in the game. - After the 2005 season Berryman was caught underage in Club Element and was permanently removed from the team. - Considered best linebacker and linebacker prospect in the country during his freshman and sophomore years.
- Compared to Lawrence Taylor, Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Lavar Arrington
- Top of line as far as linebackers go in pass rushing, pass coverage, tackling
- Well versed in the 3-4 scheme
- Tremendous athlete, speed, jumping, change of direction when in shape

- Minor knee injury that required arthroscopic surgery in August 2005.
- Missed several games, returned overweight (nearly 300 lbs) but a dominating effort versus Florida State, sprained ankle next game.

Marco Martin, NT, Texas, 6-3, 355 lbs
- Tremendous physical potential - reportedly ran 4.95 when he was 330 lbs. Ran 4.7 at 300 lbs coming into college.
- Weight problems - at one point hit 370 lbs, struggles to keep weight down.
- Work ethic - known for being lazy in practice, not studying plays
- Lack of experience - after 3 years with Texas, has only played in 5 career games and recorded 6 tackles.
- Struggles with multiple injuries due to lack of conditioning and effort in trying to get back into shape.
Richard Washington, WR/RB, NC State, 5-10 7/8, 164 lbs, 4.66 40 time
- Very undersized, shifty athlete probably projects to 3rd down back, PR and slot receiver
- Running back converted to WR
- Suspended in 2003
- Dismissed from team 2005 after being top receiver for the team
