Marvel Smith has been signed to a two-year incentive-laden deal worth up to $10.5 million if he stays healthy and will be the starting right tackle for 2009. On Friday, the 49ers terminated the contract of
Jonas Jennings, who outside of his all-pro level 2006 season, could not stay healthy throughout his time in San Francisco.
