According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen New York Giants free-agent QB
David Carr has agreed to terms on two year contract with the 49ers.
With the signing, it is likely we have seen the last of
Shaun Hill.
If Hill is released, the remaining bonus money would count against the 49ers salaries for 2010. His dead money would be only $700,000.
Terms are not known at this time. But we will update this with his contract terms when available.
In other news, NFL Network reports that former Oakland Raiders RB
Justin Fargas will make a visit to the 49er facility sometime in the near future.
Also,
Tony Pashos has signed with the Cleveland Browns.
