Glen Coffee retires, 5-day letter sent to Balmer

According to Matt Maiocco's twitter, after missing the past two practices second-year RB Glen Coffee has announced his retirement. Strange to hear, given that he had added 10 lbs of muscle this offseason and seemed very dedicated. Will update when more news is released.
AWOL defensive lineman Kentwan Balmer is also close to off the roster as the team has sent him a "Five day letter" which states that if he does not show up within the period denoted in the letter, he will have given up his rights to certain parts of his contract and the team can go after him to recoup part of his guaranteed monies (up to 960K) paid via signing bonus.
Update: The 49ers have announced they have added WR/RS Bobby Guillory and DE/OLB Will Tukuafu.
