49ers Down Colts in Indy

The 49ers went into Indianapolis and showed promise in certain areas.
Alex Smith looked mediocre at best (3-9, 37 YDS, INT), as his interception off a near completion to Delanie Walker was his fault or not, the decision itself was extremely poor to begin with.
On the other hand, both David Carr and Nate Davis played well, helping to rally the 49ers to 34 straight points after going down 10-0 in the first quarter.
The Niners defense played very well without Patrick Willis (sat out), picking off Curtis Painter 3 times, helping to set up scores.
But in the end, the 49ers came out victorious, in a 37-17 win in Indy.
Offensive Player of the Game: Anthony Dixon carried the load and looked completely dominant, rushing for 100 yards and a TD. He really looks like a 6th-round steal.
Defensive Player of the Game: Reggie Smith, who made a key 91 yard interception return for a touchdown to spark the comeback.
